Ciclitorino Sport & Tour is more than just a bike manufacturer or tour operator: it is a travel companion for those seeking the essence of slow travel, an experience that combines sporting pleasure with personal growth. In this series of articles, we tell you about the adventure of Lieven Loots, Belgian archaeologist and Skedaddle Italia expert guide, who shares with us his route from Saint Malo to Nice, made up of exploration, culture and nature.
Lieven has lived in Sardinia with his family for years, but his heart belongs to every road and path he crosses on his bike. He speaks five languages, combines archaeological expertise with a deep knowledge of the territory, and is a born storyteller. His journey, immortalised during a tour organised by Skedaddle, is symbolic of what Ciclitorino Sport & Tour represents: experiencing the world at the rhythm of pedalling, discovering landscapes and stories that escape the speed of everyday life.
Every shot and every moment of its itinerary speaks to us of freedom, connection with nature and passion for cycling. Follow us on this adventure to discover how a Ciclitorino can turn your journey into an unforgettable experience.

“A cycle guide since 2006, last summer I tackled the Saint-Malo to Nice cycling holiday for one of the tour operators I work with. That is a long ride tallying up a total of over 1500 km starting from the choppy waves of the Atlantic Coast of Brittany and finishing at the warm waters of the Mediterrenean near the bustling town of Nice. In between a spectacular route crossing through no less than 19 départements, including the Loire Valley, the Dordogne, the valley of the River Lot, the Ardeche, the Rhone Valley, the Gorge du Verdon and the Provence. We set out 18 days to cover the distance, including one rest day, with daily distances ranging widely from 50 to 120 km and 600 to 2300 m of climbing. Yes you can do it in less, but who are we to resist some more time to enjoy “La Douce France!””
